Introducing Synerra's founding advisory board

Synerra Climate Action introduces its founding Advisory Board: Lillian Georgopoulou, Christos Papagiannis, Yannis Souliotis and Elisabeth Vishnevskaja, bringing finance, science, policy and youth into one room.

Today we are so proud to be introducing Synerra Climate Action's founding Advisory Board:

  • Lillian Georgopoulou — Chief Listings Officer, Euronext Athens

  • Christos Papagiannis — Secretary General, Young European Federalists

  • Yannis Souliotis — Environmental Economist, PhD Imperial College London

  • Elisabeth Vishnevskaja, CFA — sustainable finance and responsible investment

Greece is one of the most climate-exposed countries in Europe, and the response is slower and more scattered than the risk deserves. We started Synerra | Climate Action in January to shine a light on what is actually happening here; and on what people, businesses and the government can do to mitigate and adapt to these risks.

That work stalls when finance, science, policy and young people sit in separate rooms. As of today, ours has all four.

Between them: decades of invaluable experience across academia, working with businesses both large and small, building organisations from nothing, and deep European policy networks.

To Lillian, Christos, Ioannis, and Elisabeth: thank you for believing in Synerra early. We are lucky to have you.

Over the next few days we will introduce each of them properly, and what they are here to fix.
