Meet the board, part 3 of 4.

Yannis Souliotis, environmental economist, PhD from Imperial College London.

An economist by training; a generalist at heart. Yannis has worked in academic research, served on a Greek minister's team on public policy, and for the last three years advised the President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry. His work spans strategy, institutional development and entrepreneurship, with close links to the Greek startup ecosystem. He also contributes to IUCN expert commissions working on environmental policy, sustainable development and ecosystem management.

One detail from his PhD stayed with us. He set out to build his research on Greek case studies and found enough for exactly one, because so much of the underlying data has never been gathered.

We think that is one of the most promising openings in Greek climate work. Reliable local data is what turns a general worry into something people, businesses and policymakers can act on, and building some of it is high on the list of what we want to do with him.

Ioannis, thank you for joining us.
